Some things earn their character.

This one began life as a British fire hose nozzle, built for purpose rather than display. For years it sat ready for action, part of a piece of equipment designed to protect people, places and livelihoods. Exactly where it served and how many callouts it answered is now lost to time, but the signs of its working life remain etched into the metal.

Rather than letting that story end, we've given it a new chapter.

The original metalwork has been carefully hand polished to reveal its bright finish and industrial character, while retaining the marks and imperfections that make it unique. What was once a practical tool has been transformed into a distinctive table lamp that celebrates craftsmanship, history and reuse.

The lamp has been professionally rewired using braided jute three-core flex, complete with an inline switch and UK plug. All electrical work has been completed to current UK and EU regulations, making it ready for modern living while preserving its industrial roots.

Every scratch, dent and mark tells part of a story that couldn't be manufactured today.

Every lamp comes with a bulb, so it's ready to enjoy when it arrives. Where possible, we'll include the bulb shown in the photos. If it isn't available, we'll send a suitable replacement instead.
