From tending the land…
…to lighting your home.
Long before garden centres and battery-powered tools, this knapsack sprayer was carried from field to field, orchard to orchard, helping generations of growers care for the land.
Crafted in the 1940s by The Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield in the Midlands, this vintage knapsack sprayer has lived a hardworking life. Built from beautifully engineered metalwork and designed to last, it carries the kind of character that only decades of honest use can create.
Rather than letting it fade into history, we've given it a new purpose.
The original metalwork has been carefully hand polished to reveal its rich tones while preserving the natural patina earned over more than a century. Finished with army blue braided flex, inspired by traditional workwear and the agricultural heritage of the piece, The Field Keeper blends industrial craftsmanship with timeless design.
Professionally rewired using three-core braided flex, complete with an inline switch and UK plug, this one-of-a-kind lamp has been built for modern living while honouring its remarkable past. All electrical work has been completed in accordance with current UK and EU regulations.
Every lamp comes with a bulb, so it's ready to enjoy when it arrives. Where possible, we'll include the bulb shown in the photos. If it isn't available, we'll send a suitable replacement instead.
