Long before online banking and contactless payments, these canvas money bags worked hard behind the scenes. They carried cash, coins and paperwork through banks across the UK, picking up scuffs, creases and stories along the way.

We don't know exactly how old each one is, what we do know is they've been around the block a few times.

Rather than letting these wonderfully characterful textiles disappear forever, we've given them a Second Shift.

Each cushion features an original section of vintage bank bag canvas framed by soft fabric, allowing the bold typography and honest wear to take centre stage. Every mark, faded letter and crease is part of its history, meaning no two cushions will ever be exactly alike.

Our cushions are made using genuine reclaimed vintage textiles, so please treat them with a little kindness.

Remove the cushion pad before cleaning.
Spot clean with a damp cloth where possible.
If a deeper clean is needed, hand wash the cover in cool water using a gentle detergent.
Do not soak, scrub or wring.
Air dry naturally away from direct sunlight.
Do not tumble dry or bleach.
The original printed lettering may continue to soften over time – that's part of the story of the material.
