Some pieces arrive with a story already written into them.
This one began life nearly a century ago as a hardworking Mysto copper garden sprayer, quietly tending flower beds, greenhouses and vegetable patches somewhere in Britain. Built around 1930, it was designed to last, crafted from solid copper and brass at a time when things were made to be repaired rather than replaced.
Its copper skin gathered marks, scratches and patina over its working life; a record of the gardens it worked in and the hands that carried it. Rather than hiding that history, we've chosen to celebrate it.
Carefully hand polished to reveal the rich warmth of the copper beneath, this remarkable piece now starts a new chapter as a one-of-a-kind statement lamp. The original character remains intact, from the beautifully aged metalwork to the subtle imperfections that remind you this object has already lived a full life.
To bring it into the modern world, it has been professionally rewired using antique gold braided three-core cable, complete with an inline switch and UK plug. All electrical work has been completed in line with current UK and EU regulations, allowing this vintage survivor to continue serving a purpose for decades to come.
Every lamp comes with a bulb, so it's ready to enjoy when it arrives. Where possible, we'll include the bulb shown in the photos. If it isn't available, we'll send a suitable replacement instead.
